I’ve had this silver pendant for a decade+. It’s a Native American thunderstorm/lightning motif, but I’ve long forgotten its creator’s tribal origins.
But the other day, I thought about permanently mounting it on a beaded necklace, and blue flash labradorite was my first instinct. To me, the stone’s chatoyance evokes flashes of cloud to cloud lightning.
Even though I have enough material to only use labradorite, I’m also considering some other materials as accents, like hematite chips, blue tiger’s eye, rainbow moonstone, etc., with labradorite only or blue tiger’s eye as the front runners.

Turquoise or opal might be good
Dannyalcatraz
Absolutely!
But I was trying to get away from typical Native American stone choices (turquoise, coral, onyx, MOP, spiny oyster), and all of my opal beads are either small or part of graduated sets.
…except for a piece already in the works combining boulder opal with turquoise chips. (And THOSE opals would dwarf the pendant, so the design would look unbalanced.)

I am also working on some heavy stuff to my guy. Thanks for noticing. Currently working with King Arthur’s on 146 right now! They have a park stairs that contains some magnificent picture of land marks I think would look great in MEN IN BLACK HQ!

It’s the Staircase that drop to RIVERSIDE DRIVE WITH THE UNDERPASS. If you take a picture of the Pawn In the Cove, we can have a knight on a horse in the Center of Men In Black.

If we don’t want the Horse, for professional reasons, I’ll take the Horse as my STABLE GUARDIANS! SEND THAT HORSE TO MY STABLE SO I CAN MAKES IT UNACCESSIBLE BY ANYONE. Other than me.

My horses would be the same size horse on 14 and university place at p.f. Chang…. Go figures… in MARBLE… which can turn into a silver surfer suit or suits after absolute absorption or micro dew- no needs for vodka!
