Classic. It always bothered me though, when she goes down that ladder, she looks at her GLOVED hands in disgust and then proceeds to WIPE THEM THROUGH HER HAIR.... They really are weird in the future.

"We're police officers, we're not trained to handle this kind of violence!" Demolition Man came out in 1993, about two years after Rodney King was caught on film being beaten by a group of police officers in 1991. The 1993 audiences got the joke, whereas now 30 years later, the joke makes no sense, thanks to effective police reform, police are no longer known as a poorly regulated group of quick violence thugs. ACAB, All Cops Are Benevolent. The future is bright.

Now he just looks like a Chucky cosplayer

Yeah, Snipes really pulled it off

Not one mention of Jack Black as random Dennis Leary henchman, or MTV Sports' Dan Cortese as the guy playing piano and singing "In the Valley of the Jolly Green Giant" at Taco Bell? C'mon, you nerds can do better.

Sucks to live in a world with him still living and Bill Hicks and Greg Giraldo no longer with us.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes but wtf are the three shells for?!?!

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

He doesn't know how to use the three seashells?!, hehehehe.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

You don't know how the three sea shells work? thats... Oh I can see how that would be quite uncomfortable.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nigel Hawthorne was in that movie?! Wow, I might have to watch it.

Girl: “Fuck you lady!”

I saw this on a pirate channel in bolivia as a youth. I still think to this day how does one use 3 seashells to wipe

2 years ago | Likes 74 Dislikes 0

It's a zen thing. You don't think. Clear your mind, allow the seashells to work, and get on with your day.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You don’t, you just swear till you have enough citations to get the job done.

I love that it is a film with a massive number of well known and familiar actors in it....and it's just so damn campy and over the top.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Love this movie. It's referenced quite a bit in Cyberpunk 2077. The bathrooms all have 3 seashells. Lol

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

They do in Deus Ex Human Revolution as well . I personally feel like Cyberpunk, gameplay wise, feels more like a follow up to Deus Ex than the sequels do.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thrstory of cp2077 demands a linear gameplay experience, much like Deus ex.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A great 'bad' movie. I don't care what anyone says.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Totally, its my guilty pleasure movie, "You really licked his ass!"

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Never seen it. Worth a watch?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it's a fun 90's action movie. Good amount of comedy, generally one-liners as per 90's standard,

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

if you like actions flicks, or if you like stallone, or if you like sandra bullock...then yes...otherwise still yes, just a little less enthusiastic...

I like the idea of someone from outside North America seeing the Taco Bell scene and going “it’s not pizza hut?!”

2 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

It was TB when I saw it in the UK which confused me at the time 'cos I was all WTF is Taco Bell.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Funnily enough there was one taco bell in the uk at the time.. On a USAF base, inaccessible to the public!

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That happened to me. It was a total mandela effect moment

Oddly enough, same company, Yum! Brands which used to Tricon or Tricom or something like that.

It was Pizza Hut here in Australia, but now we have Taco Bell too!

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

pizza hut here in germany iirc, which was only slightly better known...

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had it on vhs in finland and it was taco bell, untill year ago i saw it on the tv and he said pizza hut i was amazed, wtf happend to taco bell?!

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It was Taco Bell in the US, but was changed to Pizza hut for most of the regions outside of the US it was changed to Pizza Hut as Taco Bell wasn't well known outside the US.

I must say, Wesley Snipes in his prime was a fantastic action star. His own practice of martial arts really gave his movements a credibility. You can learn choreography for a scene, but having done techniques for years, really comes across on the screen

He was one of the best bad guys I've seen

I thought he was an amazing drag queen. His work in To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar was stellar!

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

To my shame I've never seen that! It's on the list

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

it is a surprisingly great movie that has aged well. Lots of unfortunately still active issues being confronted, as well as just a solid cast delivering the script.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Precisely. I just can't believe it's been so long since it's been released!
