Peta hates when your let your cat go outside. They use inflated numbers which take into account stray cats who kill millions of prey.

I have one of these in my garden. They even fight with cats to defend other birds.

That's the only action I've seen between this bird and my cat. Most of the time she's sleeping or waiting for cat food, though.

No, I'm from France. I'm not sure they have those in America… Like we don't have bluejays, in Europe.

Those birds are pretty amazing. They can be a real pain in the ass but they're really smart. I read they can be understood by other species.

Yes their sound is pretty disturbing and afaik they are kind of a bird police, warning other birds of possible threats.
