#23 Use good olive oil for this. The garlic olive oil is fantastic on its own.

#1 My mom, rest her soul, had a potato ricer - like a garlic press but bigger, built to hold an entire boiled potato or two. They retail in the $25-40 range.

#24 It is a tragedy that you reposted a men with the pot video without the sound

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lots of glitches when uploading big dumps on pc version. Some don't upload and get dropped. Some lose audio. Some have audio that don't play til I post. Gate that when a vid ends up having some whack ass audio I didn't know about. Sorry boot that. We could always complain to a mod and then they'd fix it. /s

Or is it comedic satire, one will never know.

#12 this isn't fair. Where is this tortilla technology?? I demand access!!

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They're fresh made and hot. Using store bought cannot achieve this effect.

Also probably use lard.

#10 No. Please don't cook food in a plastic bag for chips like that. It is not food-safe and contains plastic oligomers, microplastics, plastic additives, adhesives, printing ink chemicals, solvents from ink, aluminum particles, and much more. Use a freezer bag.

1 week ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

Or please do. We could use less people like that.. would help to solve the overpopulation problem.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

There is precisely 1 method that's proven to solve overpopulation. Quality of life - the higher it is, the less kids per couple. Hans Rosling proved it long ago. Meaning step 1 would be to start hanging the oligarchs that hoard all the wealth.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Yeah. That was hard to watch. Wtf is wrong with people. Stupid shit for clicks.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#1 Garlic press? Why? Use a potato ricer or a food mill.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Exactly, they are inexpensive and the correct tool.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#4 I've done this. You just end up with uncooked pasta in the middle of the sausages

1 week ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 0

Yep, same here. I was a camp counselor and we tried it for fun with the kids. It was hard in the middle, completely uncooked no matter how long we cooked it. Was dumb.

1 week ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I've done it too, had the best luck with angel hair pasta but the rest won't cook through enough in time.

Also depends on temperature, needs to already be at a boil before you drop it in, then it's ready in 4-8 minutes. Tastes pretty meh to be honest. It helps to pull the pasta a bit once it's starting to get soft so the parts in the sausage don't end up hard/chewy, but it's a lot of effort. Plus the meat goes bland, you must pre-cook better sausage and it ends up going bland and being a waste

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well they're cured sausages *hot dogs* so you'll still be fine. But I linked it another comment, the Philippines adopted some weird American food culture during our... ahem... time there. Really sweet spaghetti sauce with hot dogs, that's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filipino_spaghetti

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Oh there are far worse evils alive in the phillipines today as a result of the travesties of West Israel than that.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

The problem is the uncooked PASTA where it's inside the hot dog. It's more of an unpleasant texture issue than a food safety issue

1 week ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Ah I see. Yeah that's why you actually cook everything and then do the tossy toss :) I mean hot dog in pasta doesn't sound the worst. Rather have a chili dog tho

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Amirite @MrSwissroll The TRUCK WILL BE LEGENDARY

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Yeah, it's definitely better to cook the pasta as normal, and cook the hotdogs separately if you want to make a hotdog pasta dish.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

#1 buy ore ida or store brand tater tots, those look kinda gummy and nothing you couldn't achieve with a frozen tater tot for 4 bucks a bag

1 week ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Not gummy if done properly. These are fried gnocchi with rice flour instead of wheat flour. The trick is to not overwork the dough. And you avoid over boiling them by just frying instead. These will be soft inside

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I forget what they’re called but if you boil potato chunks in baking soda water, then toss them in oil and seasonings before roasting them, you get a much better crispy potato thingy that takes a lot less time than whatever this is

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or at least get a real ricer instead of doing 10x as much work w/ a little garlic press

1 week ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Right? I'm not the champion for ricers, I like mashers, but if you gonna do some croquette... try not to overwork the taters precious. And you adding stuff that doesn't need to be added in terms of starch, that's a lot of added starch

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I think theyre gluten free gnocchi more than tots/croquettes. My preference or those tho is pan frying after boiling, not just double frying. But im a heratic who makes gnocchi w/ instant mashed potatoes, so...

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I literally just made instant mash, like one of those plastic tub microwave stuff, tonight. Cuz the best by date said today and I'd bought it a while ago for a cheap side. It's not bad it's just preservatives. https://media2.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPWE1NzM3M2U1YjVvMjA4cWRtdmRxcDlqeTRteTFlNnhraWRhazNidGdodnR5ZnEycCZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/xTiTnkrFN6aCbiw9na/200w.webp

Im talkin the flakes, one of these plus some flour/egg/hot water makes for some funky flavored gnocchi.
