I've noticed a number of work bench posts, so I thought I'd through my 2 cents in.

I made my carving bench over 20 years ago. This is how it usually looks. I know this would drive some people nuts but I think it has a lived in look.

Sorry for the poor photo, I should have checked it before I cleaned it off.

Haven't seen the whole top in years. I had some left over sheet rubber from a job so I used it to do this inlay. It has taken a lot of abuse as you can tell.

The rest will have to wait for another 20 years to be cleaned. :)
