Okay, I can explain. You know I have trouble reading people, and I say the wrong things, sometimes, and I noticed it was happening more often with you three than it was with the others. And then I noticed fluctuating patterns, and I started graphing them, and by the time I realized what I was actually measuring, it had started to yield really positive results for everybody, so I kept doing it.

It depends on your spouse and what would serve you both. It's a day to celebrate your connection, not just a girl's day. If a raincheck is best, dream it up with her while demonstrating initiative by offering suggestions you'd both enjoy. If she needs pampering, treat her to a mani/pedi (if she likes that) and join her. If she's not dieting, chocolate is likely welcome. Get her options and/or both of your faves, not just <3 shaped boxes. Good luck!
