I don’t understand the “not all men” bit. Seems like a valid response to a generalizing statement like “men are violent” so let’s just avoid making statements like that if we don’t want to hear “not all men”…?

#3 "not feminist" and "sexist" are very different things. I'm an egalitarian, not a feminist

not saying ur wrong, just saying I’m here for the cats knocking things off tables and dogs shiting in wet cement (still get a +1 for ur work)

#9 What about women who spout "ALL men are the same", what then?

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

Those women are narrow-minded and inexperienced and probably make poor choices due to those issues. I have a young coworker who only associates with DOUCHBAGS who treat her like garbage and then says all men suck. I've explained that she just keeps associating with the shit ones. My long-term partner works with us. She knows him, and he's a wonderful man. I ask her about him, and she says he's the exception. I explained how I stopped dating red flags and found someone worth my time.

Is that a serious question?

Mocking the intent of the meme does not make you edgy.

#3 Err... have you heard what certain »feminists« are stating? Could just as well call that sexist, just in the opposite but still very shitty way. It's not that black and white, you know...

Yes, TERFs are sexist. I don't see the problem here.

WTF are you talking about?

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 5

That by far the most vocal proponents of whatever feminism is are exclusively about blaming men for every problem under the sun, and taking their rights away instead of being equal.

“whatever feminism is” yikes

There are corners of “feminism” that didn’t learn anything from the Dolly incident.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The cloning of Dolly the sheep? Or is there another Dolly incident I haven't heard of?

How does/did certain flavors of feminism respond to someone like Dolly Parton. They messed up when they tried to shame her for her appearance.

Ah, I see. Thanks.

I have a hard time being on someone's side when they use the term "incel". It describes someone who is unable to have an affectionate relationship and you are using THAT to shame someone. Also, one of your memes says "baby dick". I thought body shaming was bad..... It does not help your case to be as toxic as the people you are trying to insult.

Others have already explained the incel portion to you, and you're completely misunderstanding it. On purpose to troll or because you really don't get it, I don't know. I will say, I understand the baby dick part being problematic, but remember, it's because it's a discussion about teens having sex. Inexperienced people. It's not intended to be offensive or demeaning to smaller penis sizes. That's not how I meant it anyway.

Incel is not a slur. It's a label invented by and worn with pride by the very people it refers to. Just like TERF. If their names have become mud, they have no one but themselves to blame.

PS. And, just to be clear, here, "incel" means a person who isn't getting the sex they think they're OWED, and uses that as an excuse for their shitty behavior.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

This is incorrect. the term incel comes from people who have given up on empathy and embrace misogyny. When people speak about incels they speak about this group. The toxic masculine manosphere has many proponents that jump on this and tells people their problems are physical imperfections, or that women are slutty. That is what people are against.

incel
/ˈinˌsel/
noun
a member of an online community of young men who consider themselves unable to attract women sexually, typically associated with views that are hostile toward women and men who are sexually active.
"self-identified incels have used the internet to find anonymous support"

They are damaged and hurting, of course they act out. People have no empathy for men.

Having suffered an injustice does not make it okay to commit an injustice. They're damaged and hurting, yes. That's not an excuse to treat women like fucking garbage and only further pushes them into incel mindsets when women rightfully tell them to fuck off.

People have no empathy for incels, there’s a difference. And if you can’t differentiate between the two, I have some bad news for you, friend…

Yes, Contrapoints detailed the early genesis of the Incel. They are confused teens and young adults with bad ideas. Many of whom have embraced misogyny and committed acts of violence. Again, this has led to the intersection of the toxic manosphere, where people like Andrew Tate and others have encouraged these toxic views.
