These are deeply unserious people who have been given serious power. Part of the reason Newsome's parody is causing such a freak out on the right is because they're shining a bright light on the un-seriousness that our shitty political media has taken great care to paper over.

I don’t like Newsome, but Abby Phillip of that godawful CNN panel show that platforms the true dregs of American society was complaining about Newsome’s tweet stunts. Nice way to show how out of touch you are with the state of things, Abby. You are useless to the cause and I hope you enjoy your highroad to the gulag if the fascists win.

Hitler was like the 3 stooges trying to follow Hitler's playbook. They were just as bumbling and incompetent then, we only have this image of them as suave James Bond villains because of WW2 movies.

Honestly, the India Jones movies generally made them look pretty dumb. It was Indy vs 1 or 2 somewhat competent people and their army of buffoons. Hell, in both Raiders and Last Crusade the bad guys died because of stupid over confidence.
