This ad popped up between my IG Story feed. Is this shit even legal? This seems like impersonation.

I honestly have no clue how something like this would pop up in ads that are supposed to be targeted. I'm one of the most liberal people I know.

As long as they don’t claim to be officials or try to enforce anything, they can wear it legally. They’re still absolute turds, but we knew that. Nice of them to let us know so that we can avoid interacting with them except to tell them to go fuck themselves.

"I love my freedom (to fuck with everyone else's)."

I'm so sick of hearing someone say something disgustingly bigoted, then put their hands up and say "but that's my right to say that!"

If it is, order as many as possible, bankrupt them and get some new rags for cleanup at work.

Ugh I need to figure out a way to acquire money in a completely legal fashion from these gullible fucks.

Equivocation is the path. It looks like a bait and switch, but you slip through the equivocation loophole.

Take a chinese knockoff phone, paint it gold, put a T on the back, tell everyone it's Made In USA, make it in China, then charge Trump knob-gobblers more than double or even triple what it's worth?

Oh wait, they already did that.

The algorithm knows you are interested in the ad, even if the interest is negative. You’re even giving them free advertising.

How do I call an organization out on their bullshit without giving free advertisement?

Firebomb their HQ?

I laughed... because that's something they'd do.

i mean... this is the trouble, but the best is to share it somewhere you know there is a low population of people who would want to buy it, so you are doing okay.

People shitting on it in comments will make it clear the public view.

That was the idea of posting it here. Imgur is pretty solidly common-sense (or left) leaning (other than bots and trolls), so I figured i wouldn't be getting them many new customers here.

Report the ad in the app, report it to whatever your trading standards organisation is,ignore it and move on.not much else you can do I'm afraid, but your biggest tool is to not give them your time or energy.treat them like trolls, attention is what they want so dont give it to them.

it'll just go back to some content generation scheme like the 5 minute crafts bullshit.always does.
