Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should

Also available in flavored milk form- there's Frosted Flakes flavor, and Girl Scouts cookie Thin Mint and Caramel Delite flavors, too.

I’m 100% repulsed!!!

But 20% intrigued…

WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE!!!!!!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I want one pretty bad but if I am consuming that much sugar it better be a donut.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They put these flavors in breakfast cereal, as well. Revolting

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More like the executives were so preoccupied with whether or not they could. The scientists had no say in the matter.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So the left it just cinnamon coffee and the right is just vanilla iced latte. what's the issue here?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am simultaneously attracted and repelled.

That title is absolutely the way the human race will end.

I'm waiting on the next great leap in space travel tech, except this time the whole planet gets the "Event Horizon" treatment.

All y'all blaming scientists like you don't know this was cooked up by some marketing intern...

It’s a quote from Jurassic park … I know it’s not on the same level as recreating a 65 million year old species.. but I thought it would be funny to use the same quote here

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Movie quote. And for some reason parts of Hollywood really seem to hate scientists.

I loved when he hired John Woo to make that Quaker Oats commercial. I think it was called Hard Target.

Ah capitalism. Thousands of brands and products to choose from, made by companies that are all owned by one big company and a visit to the doctor costs 3000 dollars.

I've never been more certain that we're not going to make it as a species.

Rancid looking products

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd try the cinnamon toast crunch one. I think that would be good as coffee. The twinkie one is questionable tbh.

Fat American’s being fat.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’ve gotten a couple of these. As others have said just a sugary drink. I ended up pouring mine into regular coffee later (a little, not the whole thing) for a sweetener.

I was in Germany not to long ago and a saw curry worst flavored energy drink. I would say that sounds worse.

Presumably this coffee beverage is artificially flavored in the style of Victor Allen's coffee

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

is that coffee processed ?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I saw those, and I have yet to try it

Me:

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably taste great, but my stomach hurts just imagining how much sugar is probably in those.

2 years ago | Likes 108 Dislikes 1

I've tried the Twinkie one, it's mostly drinkable but I'd never have another one. It's what you imagine it tastes like, but way more artificial tasting than you're imagining.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably Zero. I'm sure it's all corn syrup. USA!

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Corn syrup IS sugar…

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Big no for me. Canned coffee always reminds of Starbucks coffee. Sweet, watery and no actual coffee flavor.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Look, I love sweets. Like, too much. I have dessert after every meal, including French toast drowned in syrup. My go to drink is vanilla vodka and coke. There is such a thing as too sweet though. At some point it's less of a flavor and more of a sensory reaction.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

For the novelty of it all Ive tried the Twinkie Latte. Its better than the name would have you imagine it to be, but its still undrinkable in the sense that I couldnt down half a can before pouring it out. Not that it disgusted me, but there wasnt enough going for it to compel me to keep drinking/finish the can. The best store bought latte drink Id recommend is Waiakea "Volcanic" Coffee. It actually taste like a coffee drink instead of the milk & sugar cacophony that is Starbucks Latte.

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

I would also like to add a suggestion o/

Kenco brand sachets of 'latte' mix are mild and a little sweet, but I add slims brand hazelnut syrup (sugar free) and lots of extra full fat milk. It may not be too everyone's taste, but if you're looking for that 'is this coffee or am I drinking Ferrero Rocher?' experience on the cheap, it's well worth seeking out this combo

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*to - sorry, autocorrect

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Most pre-mixed coffee/latte drinks are almost undrinkable. So I really appreciate the low sugar ones because they actually taste like coffee

Taco bell has a fucking crunch wrap that they put cheez its in it, fucking hell this timeline is weird

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'll allow that one.. Doritos tacos worked out nicely

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Whoa, whoa whoa....is this a new thing? Am i missing something? I will literally try any new taco bell item...and that one sounds great in a degenerate sort of way.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

100% real

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Less sugar than soda or juice, but still too sweet. I use it as coffee creamer. It was clearance at Sam's otherwise I never would have tried it.

2 years ago | Likes 83 Dislikes 0

Only 100 calories. .. they should recommend them for diets ! /s

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

There is only one correct way to drink coffee.. and that is however you like it best. Got you real riled up there, didn't I. :)

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

For reference, that's 7.2g of sugars per 100ml which is indeed less than most soda and juices. I'd still prefer a fresh unfiltered fruit juice, the fibers help.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What!? No fiber??

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

At home, those values are 100ml, so in a 500ml can, which is the can in the picture, so that 500ml can would have 47g of sugar. (A 250-300g candy bag has the same amount of sugar)

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 6

That is the nutrition information for one serving, which it says up top is the entire can. So the entire can has 17 grams of sugar

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

8 oz is 236 ml. And the serving size is the whole can so the numbers listed are the totals for the whole can.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What about the rest of the ingredients? Just curious on what kind of shenanigans are allowed in US.

2 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Palm oil and msg is in a surprisingly vast many products, which is pretty cool… oh and sugar is in literally everything, so I kinda think alien bug people are a real thing and they injected their food source into our supply.

Showing E numbers is not mandatory in US food products?

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nope, That's a Europe thing. We just list the ingredients themselves out here, sometimes obscured as "natural flavors"

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"E" numbers?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

In Europe most food additives have a number assigned. Citric acid is E330, for example.
