"Dogs pee on me all the time.... but today the tables have turned" - fire hydrant probably

Happiness is a dog and a fire hydrant

Meanwhile in Africa...

Happy puppers

Take him off the leash you and let good boy go crazy

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That was a hotdog

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Black fur in summer = hot dog.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's not a bun though

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This made me happy.

a better caption would have been "Hydrant's Revenge"

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hail hydrant!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought this was gonna be some kind of punishment from the caption lol

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People with water shortages right now

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Even in water short places, flushing the line to maintain chlorine residuals in dead end lines is standard procedure.

Sometimes you piss on the fire hydrant. Other days the fire hydrant pisses on you

I feel like this comment is underrated.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I have so many questions... Lol

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I only have a few answers.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If this was a cat the comments would be so good

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The same wet pussy joke 100x? No thanks.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah but top comment would take it above and beyond. They always do

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im going to assume you are the city/fire worker that drives that pickup and are allowed to do this.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Water maintenance worker. It has it's perks in the summer, winter is miserable.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As one public servant to another "ain't that the truth"

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s official. I must be an adult. My first thought was, “who pays for all that water?”

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Sometimes they turn them on in hot days when we have too much water.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

“They” being the city. And who pays to fund the city?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did your incredibly dim bulb spark up yet?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah but that leash lol....

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This dog would absolutely run into traffic.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This dog got run over a month ago.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks, asshole! When the FD did this in front of my house it turned my water brown for about an hour or 2. A normal thing I am told.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

That's not normal, unless you're from Flint

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Good thing they opened them then. Get rid of all that sediment.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Opening and closing valves and hydrants can stir up sediments and will turn brown. Here I was flushing the line after a repair.

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Also, I work out in the Public too. I carry a bag of dog treats for run ins with dogs. Looks like I need to borrow a wrench from the FD.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's mostly rust. Pretty harmless. Total normal. Just run your tap until it's clear.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It wasn’t a big deal. They were painting them and then came back and cracked them open. My kids were pretty grossed out though.

As a Californian, this hurts to see. As a human being, lookit the doggo, he has so much fun! Look at him prance!

6 years ago | Likes 343 Dislikes 12

They are flushing a dead end main to maintain safe chlorine levels in the distribution system.

6 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure it’s your choice to live in California so... if it hurts that bad... then move!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 9

But honestly... stay there.. we don’t want ya

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 9

Doesn't California keep a part of the state flooded because it refuses to acknowledge a lake from flooding is meant to be temporary?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 6

Oh boo at least you still have water. Theres people in Flint still washing with waterbottles.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I live in CA, and have two wells on the property, enjoy doggo.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

W-.. NO! Don't throw the dog in one of your wells!

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

That's low pressure hommie probs testing something. The flow rate would be so much higher of it was really open

6 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I was flushing at full force. Turned it down so puppy could have some fun.

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

The water will get to you, eventually.

6 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 1

It always does.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not if the almond farms have anything to say about it

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

You live in California, where you don’t have things like mosquitos and other bugs, so you don’t get to have water. Seems fair to me.

6 years ago | Likes 157 Dislikes 7

Did you just say no mosquitos? U have obviously never been to california hush up.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

As someone who lives in California, and gets bit to death by mosquitos EVERY damn summer, that's a load of horse shit.

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

You guys clearly haven’t heard about Queensland where we combine drought with an insane amount of mosquitos and also floods

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That would be true, except that, the few times we get rain during the warm seasons, is also when we get mosquitos ):

6 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

All things balanced, as they should be

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Exactly, water comes with a cost. Pay up.

6 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

Equivalent exchange.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

but do you get lake flies?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

LoL, “Lakes”
