Glass Plate Negatives

My Dad passed away a couple years ago. He loved photography. While my brother and I were cleaning a storage area under the stairs, we came upon boxes of these glass plate negatives. I've made a little project out of digitizing each one before we decide what to do with them. This is the first group from the first box.

This is how each negative looks normally. In order to get the pictures, I put a light source in a cardboard box, put a thin piece of paper over the box to diffuse the light, then used the negative effect on my camera to reverse the image.
