I deleted Facebook a long time ago. Just hoping other people follow suit. Delete all but necessary accounts. Take back control of your privacy. Already bad enough the government is spying on us all the time anyway. And remember you can always make spoof accounts that are not personally tied to you. Host your own email server. Use aliases.

Sadly only place where i have contact with more distant relatives, hell if it wasnt for FB i would forget 99% of friends and family birthdays

Easy go on Facebook write down all of their birthdays in a notebook. Then delete it. I grew up in a time before all this social media and I had no problem contacting or remembering birthdays phone numbers addresses. They make a pen and paper it's that simple

I also grew up in a time before it and FB just made it so much easier to stay in contact with people.
