My questions about "fight back" are more strategy related. Not whether I should.

I wouldn't call that being sassy. Probably just tired of people being fucking stupid.

I was in Oregon once and saw one of these and stood there and read it. Looked up and 150 yds away at the tree line…there she was. Huge cat.

This place had a big open dog park and it was definitely scoping it out. Surreal.

What's north America's largest cat if not the cougar? I thought cougar/mountain lion were just different names for same species.

Cougar/Mountain Lion/Puma/Mountain Cat/Catamount/Florida Panther etc... Depending on where you live it can have one of 40 different names.

Here in PA we call them Mountain Lions. Which is where Penn State Nittnay Lion mascout comes from.

The Jaguar is the largest cat in North America... also a member of the panther family along with the Cougar and Leopard. Fun Fact the...

is the name of the family of cats and not a species itself. Cougars, Leopards, Jaguars, Lions, and Tigers are all panthers.

Iirc, what's normally called a panther is actually a black jaguar. I think a night vision equipped trail cam proved that in a video I saw

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Correct. There is no such thing as a Panther. Panther is the family of Cats. Lions, Tigers, Leopards, and Jaguars all belong to it.
