I don't know... The sort of "boiling over" you're suggesting doesn't exactly imply rational behavior. And giving some pathetic speech from the White House podium about how she wasn't involved, wouldn't stop her from being dragged from her mansion and strung up alongside the rest of them, if it ever came to that.

The boiling over I mention isnt fast and hot, yet. I think there will be factions and groups. There is a serious chance that the USA will breakup into regional polities. I think this is the rats hedging their bets and we will see more stuff like this.
