Across the street from my house in Sicily and many other places around etna, there are these pyramid structures and while many scientists assume it’s Neolithic no one can come to a consensus on their purpose. Some say they were just piling the volcanic rocks to clear the fields and the stair pyramid structure was the easiest way with so many rocks to clear, others say they were possible religious structures to the gods. I never know how anyone knows 100% on any ancient structures.
