Kapos. Read about Kapos. Vicious and sadistic criminals allowed special privileges to brutalize and oppress others within concentration camps. These guys are the same, criminals, sadistic and get off on cruelty.
These are not "federal agents"... these are armed terrorist thugs. All federal agents who actually have training and any sense of understanding of what is going on there should be infuriated by these common criminals masquerading as "federal agents"... and as long as I see no push back from the rest of the feds, I'm going to assume they agree with the terrorists and that's who they are now.
All law enforcement should be standing up and shouting that the law is the law. It is for everyone to follow (even if they don't always do it). Then they should start arresting ICE agents. Otherwise the public are gonna get more upset and start endangering their lives alongside ICE.
Peaceful protests are the warning, a show of force. It means "We're being nice, right now.. If you continue, future protests won't be peaceful anymore. We'll come after you, personally. If we're not safe. You won't be, either."
It's a social contract worked out long ago, to have our grievances redressed, so we don't break down the doors of our oppressors and beat them to death in front of their families. The French aristocracy didn't listen, so then came The Terror; wholesale execution.
Nah, they're way better than a strongly worded letter. Shows a sense of solidarity and a drive to do something about it. However, if the leadership decides to ignore the peaceful protests.... then you gotta start using other kinds of protests, don't ya?

they've been deputized by the federal government. They are federal agents. That is not mutually exclusive with them being terrorists.
