Al Pastor

It’s coming up millhouse. Surprised it’s working out.

Here we go. Reducing those drippings and the baria / bbq sauce mix. I’m not fully authentic. It’s spicy and sweet and savory all at once.

First attempt at cowboy beans.

Love this guy. The recipes are easy and what you’d expect from a Mexican place that isn’t too fancy. They also feel authentic.

I’ve posted this bastard before. I can make a mean frittata.

This looks fairly real to me. Would not even know it was computer generated. Is AI getting that good? /s

@op got any Hatches in there? If not some smoked hatches could really go far. And a lone star. Unless you’re in Austin. Then gotcha a real ale. Coffee porter

He made me love my home culture a bit more. Always raised to be ashamed of Tex mex in the California valley. Grandparents were Texas Mexicans who came here. You didn’t tell anyone you were Mexican. You said you were Sicilian. It feels really good seeing someone cooking what G-ma did and being excited about it.
