I'll admit to getting some decent mileage out of the art, but i'll have to take the community's word for it on the suits, because THAT part i definitely do not get.
Not sure why your comment got so many downvotes. But speaking as someone who's at least furry-adjacent, what is this "Furry Lifestyle" you speak of? I don't recognise any particular lifestyle that's common and specific to furries.
Truthfully I’m out of my depth talking about this, but what I mean is that the amount of people that dress up, go to conventions, have sex in costumes would surely have to be statistically negligible.
Therefore the amount of enthusiastic supporters and fans that cheer from the sidelines must be LARGE to affect something like the Imgur front page repeatedly.
Pondering why such a niche fetish has become so valued,I concluded that it’s very FUN with colours& costumes
Definitely different categories, and I don't think it's right to call furry a fetish exactly, although god knows there's plenty of sex wound up in it, they're grown-ass and mostly fairly uninhibited adults having fun after all. But to me "lifestyle" suggests people living something most of the time, and I don't think that applies to most furries, unless wolf T-shirts count.
Oh I assumed it was all a sex thing. Maybe that’s where I’m going wrong. I literally thought the point was for people to put on like team mascot costumes and find a way to copulate. So you’re saying some people consider themselves furries that just dress up and sort of go out in public? I was not aware. I thought these were the kind of people only spoken about by their families in hushed tones in dark places.
Yeah, sex features heavily, don't let anybody tell you different, but I think that's mainly just what happens when you have a fairly young and socially liberated crowd. And mostly not in the suits. Mostly. :)

Some of those posts have a lot of plot, the internet doesn't care if it is furry plot as long as it is humanoid plot

They're a chill crowd around here. Can't get rid of them, may as well compliment them and be neighborly.

They’re chill, and the non-furries are also chill, so if a furry post is good, it hits the fp
