full size wearable dilophosaurus skull

I made this for a fantasy event I was going to. This is me wearing my creation. Here is how I made it.

I 'drew' the skull on chickenwire with tape (done twice)

Cut out and assembled the two parts

Attached the frills

Making the teeth out of newspaper and more tape

More teeth!

Attached the teeth with duct tape

Heres the first layer of paper mache, or maybe it was the third... A lot of paper mache was used..

Drying in the sun

Spraypainted with a white base color

It fits! Chickenwire is stabbing me in the head though... (excuse the potato selfie)

Some foam for comfort while wearing it.

Started painting the skull with acrylics to make it look more like a skull and less like plastic

And here it is, fully painted and coated with a layer of varnish against.
