Advent of Cheese- Day 7

Day 7 of the cheese advent. Got to this one late due to Xmas shopping and watching the university sportsball tussles.

Here we go with the third row.

Would you look at that. It’s the third, and theoretically last, Cranberry Cheddar. As with yesterday, repeaters get accessorized.

I missed the cheese-on-cracker judgement the first time it repeated. The sweetened cranberry flavor in the cheese was mellowed by the cracker. On its own, the Cranberry Cheddar is tolerable but pairing with a cracker adds much-needed flavor dimensions.

For the third instance I’m going to pair the cheese with cracker AND summer sausage. Adventurous, I know. The summer sausage is from Dietz & Watson if you must know. I thought the cracker worked well, but adding the summer sausage takes it to, maybe not 11, but at least 8.75. This cheese definitely is meant for eating as part of a Shark Cootchie board and not on its own.
