Hi. I'm BananasRepublic. I am trans MtF. I identify as a woman after 36years as a man. I was US Army 11b for 8 years. 1 single long 2 year deployment where some really bad shit went down and I lost brothers and almost lost two sisters (they both survived pretty horrible injuries).

I have my own ups and downs. Good days and bad.

But I want you to know that no matter what you personally identify as I support your right and your decision to be who you choose to be. Nobody should be able to take that from us. Not companies. Not corporations. Not politicians. Not even our own minds when things are down and depression whispers horrible things in your ears.

We are people too. LGBTQ+. We are all red blooded homo sapiens inhabiting this beautiful blue marble in the cosmos and we have just as much right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as anyone else.

We are your neighbors. Your closeted friends. Your open friends. Your coworkers. Maybe even your loved ones even.

Much like tools in a shed are nothing without someone to wield them, we are not defined by what sits between our legs! What lives in your heart and your head are what make you you, not a nether rod or a squish mitten (go bloodhound gang reference!), and never let a single mother fucker dull your sparkle.

The argument of trans women can't get pregnant so they aren't REAL WOMEN and trans men can't get a cis woman pregnant so they aren't REAL MEN are ridiculous! So what do you call a cis woman who had to have a full hysterectomy? She can no longer conceive! If a man had testicular cancer and both testes were removed he no longer can beat children either! Does this make them any less than what they want to be!? Fuck no! Our sex is unchangeable sure, XX or XY (maybe someday science could change that) but that doesn't define you.
