Forgot to turn off the spigot in the autumn. The splitter valve burst some time last week. ? It ain’t pretty!
Luckily it’s a freeze-proof spigot! No damage inside the house!

You forgot to turn this off in the fall...? It's already a few weeks into winter. That's a lot of 'oops I forgot' water usage.

The splitter was closed. Wasn’t leaking until it burst last week

Ah, forgot to turn off water being available for said spigot, but the spigot was not open and spewing water (until it froze and exploded!) My bad!
