Even if it would be the beginning of the end of WWII the 1944 Russians would not - rightfully - agree.

One of the reasons I never tweeted is because each tweet is gives me about a 50% chance to look like an idiot, but 50% of 0 is 0 so I'm less likely to look silly if I tweet 0 times.

Leave it to the US to make WW2 all about them. It's like no one reads up on history at all.

I mean. Conservatives are the Nazi’s party of choice. So it makes sense that they think Germany’s action were fine and the allied nation’s attempts to stop it signify an act of war.

Man oh man…fuck…Thanks Alberta? Real glad…you elected her…I’m sure this isn’t an indication of her general level of intelligence at all.

Yeah, before that, that whole nazi thing was just an inconvenience.

I mean, hitler took out the Nazis leader so, he did his beet to establish peace, it's only sad he had to sacrifice himself to take him out.

So they finally admit it after all these years. It means a lot for the reconciliation process. A heartfelt thank you /s

Yes, a proud day when Leonidas landed in Gallipoli to liberate Stalingrad from Napoleon in the beginning of the Peloponnese war. Never forget the Alamo!

The perfect gif - when Agamemnon laughed at Pompeii while his Vietcong faced the British at Gettysburg

Might just have forgotten to put „of the end“ after „beginning“. I dunno, seems comparably harmless compared to what we see from other politicians around the world.

She's also the "Premier apologizes for her Nazi comments, again" lady

That would have been useful context to know.

Quotation marks do not work that way.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

They do, if you can‘t italicize to separate levels of text

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They do not. Commas are not quotation marks.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Oh, that‘s what you mean. That’s how quotation marks work in some languages. My keyboard is set to one of those languages. This is what commas/apostrophes look like,,‘‘ this is what quotation marks „“ look like.
