I'm trying to find information about a short film, which I think aired on Eat Carpet. I'm pretty confident it wasn't Liquid Television.
It was a black and white, paper cut out / drawing, stop go horror animation done to a poem.
I believe it was called "The Isle of the Skree"
It involves a group of foppish individuals hearing about this island and deciding what a laugh it would be to visit. The go for a picnic and have such a good time they forget what the time is, because you're not meant to stay after dark.
Individuals slowly start getting eaten (in a similar way to the Nazi being eaten by a spider in Good Omens) and the group try to get out of there as fast as possible.
Only one survived, "And that was the last time I stepped, on the isle of the Skree"
It was an amazing yet simple production. I would dearly love to see it again and share it around.
Has anyone heard of, seen this, or know how to locate more information? Once, a LONG time ago it was even on YouTube, but no longer.

It may be based on The Jungle of Utt books, specifically "Shipwrecked on the Island of the Skree" and I guess it's possible that copywrite played a part in why I can no longer find it.

Because this is a kids book, but the way it is read is much in the same style.

This just goes to show you how badly memory can affect recollection. It was like, 25 or so years ago.
