"I swear, on my husbands erasers!"

Rubber erasers suck. Plastic is where its at.

My wife recently chastised me for buying the more expensive BIG bottle of Acetaminophen at the store. I did the math to explain the cost per pill for each of the smaller sizes to explain how this one was the "good deal" and made the most sense.

Don't they harden over time? Or did I remember that wrong?

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

yep, had a huge one, about 9 inch x2 x1 block of rubber. never used for erasing, it now has structural integerity, you could build with it, its so solid.

This isn't what he was expecting when he ordered a box of rubbers.

Forbidden snacks.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

now you need pencils & sharpeners to then poke and drill black/grey holes into the erasers in patterns.

Same guy probably claims he never makes mistakes.

Store those in an airtight container otherwise they will be hard and crumbly by #3.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Stick....stick your pencil in it

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Is he English? Did he ask for a box of rubbers?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Gotta have a few extras for when you get the irrational urge to stab your pencil into it.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can smell those

I mean, if he's an artist

Is your husband a certain Heinrich Lohse?

Thank you for this fine serving of wiki-crawling. From a movie, to a comedian, to a lawsuit getting the comedian's signature removed from Wikipedia thus forcing the signature into public case documents thus allowing them to be reposted on Wikipedia in the section documenting their original removal from Wikipedia.

From comedy: drama.

I love the texture

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Those things taste terrible.

2 months ago | Likes 107 Dislikes 0

What it needs is a few good taters!

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But the texture is amazing.

That's because you aren't supposed to eat them. You're supposed to push thumbtacks into the sides and make a sweet toy car to play with during class.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

they don't do a good job at erasing either.

Speak for yourself

you aren't supposed to just bite into them, that's too much of the flavor at once and is why it doesn't taste right. you're supposed to grate it over a dish for a light touch. really elevates things.

Depends on the sauce, huh? v

I would have gone with Nutella

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have you tried stabbing a bunch of holes in it with a pencil? I don’t think it’ll make it taste better, but worth a try.

Get two, get two pencils, do the Charlie Chaplin fork dancing routine, make one million friends

This leeds up to the ultimate impossible practically based mathematical question; how many erasers can you give away so that you have just enough erasers for the reminder of you own life.

(Now, when I've written this here, it seems to be a very rude question, but this was a very real question with which we in high school tried to disturb our math teacher. He could again and again turn it on us. I'm still waiting for an answer though...)

Maths?! Drop the box off at the art classroom and change some lives.

How do you know it'd be a hit? Look at all the comments about people stabbing them with pencils!

The hubby in question.

I got the student theater at my college to play this for movie night on Thursday and it attracted a huge crowd but somebody in the back muttered loudly doing one of the scenes what is this fucking shit?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah...I'm going to need a TLDR explain to me like I'm 5 on this one.

Eraserhead. Early movie of David Lynch. It's memorable.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

what the fuck did i I just read about reading the plot on wikipedia lol? Like I get the implied sexual stuff. But this whole thing seems like someone had a bad drug induced dream remembered all of it and put it into film.

They mentioned Davin Lynch. That describes most of his work. Absolutely worth the watch.

Yeah, sounds right :-)

Staedtler Mars for lyfe, yo

I use that kind for woodworking, often need to erase something I marked wrong (or needs adjusting) on a piece of wood and they work the best it seems.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They are great! I mean, if I ever made a mistake I'd be sure to use them lol

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Those things felt like plastic and would ruin yours whole sheet

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I never had that experience; as a matter of fact the pink erasers were hit or (mostly) miss on some of my paper. They also were a bit more precise so they were my preference for drawing schematics while making notes for classes.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe I'm thinking of another brand that felt like cheap plastic
