I received this Chef's Knife blank as a Christmas present and spent the next 8 months thinking about how to make the handle. I wanted to think of the "perfect" handle pattern so that I could eventually make an entire set of knives.

I settled on doing Walnut with Maple for this one and then for any future knives, I'll do Walnut with a different wood. This will help me to identify them while they're in the knife block.

I made 3 test handles before finally making the real thing and still had a lot of problem solving and last-minute like "The epoxy is everywhere and these rivets won't compress" problems but it's so crazy sharp and I'm super happy with how it turned out in the end.
