Don't commit genocide; make love.

See the difference between a country where the cops aren't bastards and a country where they are? Over to you USA.

Watch how fast I can get all this gear off.

"You know guys, she's making some good points."

When a woman is this close to you. Looking at you in the eyes that way, you feel it inside. Deep down inside.

Man!.... That look would be enough for me to change sides. 😁

She got the house in the settlement.

Get a cell, you two!

"why are you looking away, does my breath smell?" What she said, probably

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What's being said?

Must not be america, no one's getting beaten and gassed

6 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

"Policia" gives it away. I keep thinking of the old man bleeding from his ears, the ypung woman trampled by a horse, and the teenager girl being body slammed into the cement.

UIP, Unidad de Intervención Policial, Police Intervention Unit. It is the Spanish Police unit responsible for prevention, imminent danger, or serious disruption to public safety. My cousin was in that unit.

In the US, anyone even attempting to get that close to an officer would have been thrown to the ground or worse.

not sure you want him horny when the beating starts tbh

Step one: be attractive

I was a bit of a shitheel in college, still imperfect but trying to be better. It's hard to explain the absolute bloodlust following 9/11, and there was a protest on campus, and I was not on their side (later, what came of it is part of what drove me anti-government libertarian, and then years later towards the left). A girl like this was open and honest and debated me on the spot, and then thanked me for talking with her despite our differences. 23 years later, I still occasionally wish

This is why I don't buy it when people say "you shouldn't bother debating with people from the other side, you're not going to change their mind." It worked on you and it worked on me. It may not work all the time, but it matters.

That's more about debating (either online, as part of social media content, or televised 'formal' ones) being a method of platforming them and spreading their rancid beliefs. Personal discussion and confrontation of them - especially if you know each other - is quite a different matter

I could tell her that she was right all along.

It's super hard to change. Most people never do, so give yourself credit for having the awareness and courage to question your beliefs and change them.

6 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You learnt and grew from it, that's exactly what she wanted.

And she was right. Mad respect and a job well done. Effective protest, at least for me

6 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I was waiting for her to kiss the face shield.

6 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I thought that was the thumbnail.

6 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeahhh they would of taken that as an assault and beat her half to death...well..maybe not half.

This. Every interaction with police should always come with the expectations that anything you do will be taken as an excuse for them to commit violence against you.

It is their role in society to be the violent enforcers of owning-class law and they are trained to go off on you at the drop of a pin. Every single one of them is just looking for an excuse to indulge in their twisted power fantasy.

This is no different than saying "all white people do whatever" or "all black people do whatever"
You're acting no different than the side you claim to hate. The large percentage of people do their jobs well, no matter what profession. There are doctors and nurses that abuse their patients. There are fast food workers that spit in your food. Humans will be humans. Shitty people are just shitty NO MATTER WHAT PROFESSION. Your rhetoric isn't helpful either.

Except that police, especially American police, are hired specifically to commit violence. It's not a trait they are born with, that comparison is a shit argument. They willingly join an organization that they *know* commits violence on a regular basis. The deluded ones who join to try and do good are either corrupted or forced out. That is why ACAB.

No one is trying to convince ...anyone...of anything. It's the truth and its right in front of eyes every single day. If you don't see it, you're willingly ignoring it or actively apart of it. Your response or non response will prove all it needs to. To the last part, telling people reality isn't helpful? I'm sorry sheep but you left your red hat. Never take it off.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Not gonna argue with you about the systemic function of police and it's inherent flaws. Go read a book.

6 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Lol true piece of work you are, congrats. Have fun fearing/trashing everyone you've never met and encouraging others to do so also, sweetie. What a life.

6 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Just as an aside, when was the last time you got beat up by literally anyone, let alone a cop? Or even got pulled over by one, for that matter. Tell us a good story so we can hate faceless everyones we don't know, but don't like. You may as well be a Republican so when you're done, trade out the names and faces in your story for immigrants.
