Ride to Mine Overlook

Up at the top of Butterfield Canyon looking down into the Bingham Canyon mine and the Salt Lake Valley.

It's a friggin' huge mine

The sun was shining almost sideways by the end, and it made my shadow pretty cool while I was riding.

Down in Butterfield Canyon itself

Saw these hanging out in a horse corral on the way home after this ride. The horses were chilling on the other side of the enclosure watching these guys drink from their trough.
