If I got Alzheimer's I would like to be euthanised, I think that is the only reason I would choose it.

so, my dad was diagnosed with a rare condition and passed away from it, he sought out a research clinic and worked to qualify (1/2)
for the research program, had the treatment been successful he would have seen a normal lifespan, but it wasn't until after he passed (2/3)
That we found out the treatment so far had only met with 5% success rate, I believe now the treatment meets with more success (3/4)
in small part thanks to my father's sacrifice. (Sorry this was so long)
that's exactly what i had in mind. compared to 'no life' stagnation, this is at least some kind of progress and can save the next guy.
