He promised to get rid of the regulations. Regulations are only for those minority groups the are targeting.

Nuclear powerplant is a ok, but you got to have the crew there to maintain it..

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This country is under a terrorist attack. Slow moving. But a terrorist attack.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If that happened to me and I was the manager of that plant. i would just shut the plant down.

He is very intentionally making America weak, so it's ripe for invasion. Be through cyber warfare or straight landings on the beach. He IS a RUSSIAN ASSET. He needs to be removed from office NOW! along with his entire cabinet. And all the republican house and Senate members who enabled him and continuously lied to the public over the last decade. And then shut down fox News and all right wing networks and influencers. We need to purge the "Right" from our lives.

1 year ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 1

We're not going to get invaded. Putin wants the US to not interfere when he invades his neighbors. He wants us weak so we can't stop him. There won't be Russian troops in Colorado. There won't need to be.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He is doing everything exactly the same as someone who was actively trying to dismantle and destroy the US would do.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, that's just the classic "Get into government; use that government to obstruct public services until they stop working; get on a soapbox and yell 'See? The government can't run things properly! We need to privatize it, so a private business can run it effectively.'; sell the public services task/infrastructure to your bhddies that paid you to ruin it in the first place; private business runs the service less effectively, more expensively and drastically reduces the scope of provided service."

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

\->Voila, you are now stuck with some private moghul owning infrastructure and pressing money out of it, but now it's really causing problems for everyone, you can't solve those anymore, because it's their property and you can't republicize it, because "That's COMMUNISM!!"

How old is this? My buddy is an engineer at Bonneville and swears that their guy got DOGE to back down on firing people. Unfortunately my buddy is still a trump supporter so I only trust what he says when he said he wasn't fired.

FFS are there no adults in the room to take the car keys away from the toddlers?

ah yes, fire the cybersecurity of a nuclear facility, what could go wrong

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

based off of the pictures, the nuclear plant looks like Columbia Generating Station in Richland, Washington

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Hanford nuclear plant is nearby too. It's very close to leaking contaminated water into the Columbia River.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i hope america is happy with the reprecussions of voting trump in.... ffs you couldnt make it up if you tried

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There is only one thing Trump is doing: ENACTING VENGEANCE towards anyone or anything he deems as anti-Trump or helped people find fault with him. He doesn't even think it through. He tells Elon Musk to go fire people, then those people have to be hired back because of critical jobs.

Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to the USA. He is a flaming national security risk. The Republican Party is quite literally HARMING us all by allowing this charade of an administration to continue.

Because it is my field, slight correction. The BPA markets power. It doesn't produce it. It doesn't OWN Columbia Nuclear Generating Station, it's who sells the power. If BPA had issues with selling it, then the plant simply gets shut down. Even then, this would probably be one of the last generation stations that would shut down as you can easily throttle down generation from hydro dams but harder to do with nuclear.

Either done on purpose to further weaken the country or done by accident because of sheer fucking incompetence, either way, well done maga, you really showed us.

On purpose because it's a blue state

Forever for a person is just the day until they die, always has been.

Trump's goal is to destroy the US so that Putin can take it over easily.

1 year ago | Likes 103 Dislikes 1

Putin already taken over and seeing your comment and upvotes makes me realise how many people are too blind to see it , https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/jan/29/trump-russia-asset-claims-former-kgb-spy-new-book

Joke's on him. Russia is too weak, it'll be China.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Putin is getting his revenge for the fall of the Soviet Union and using Republicans to do it.

1 year ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

I will bet you that all of those private conversations Trump has had with Putin, with no US interpreter or aides present, he got his marching orders to unleash destruction upon the USA... all for future promised favors from Putin.

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

The Russian interpreters notes were taken away after the meeting, this I remember. Now I don't know, but my hypothesis is that the interpreter is also now dead.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I thought, why do they need an interpretor? I'm sure Putin can speak english. But then I remembered Trump barely speaks english.

I mean, look at Texas' shit-ass power grid that they insisted not be run by the feds and has in turn become a cesspool of corrupt cost-cutting capitalism at its finest that falls apart under the slightest strain without providing any benefits to citizens and costing more than average (for poors). Yet they are *proud* of this dogshit system, and insist that it's actually *better* than the one the rest of us have. They do not live in reality with us any longer.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

the only people who think it's better are the ones who take impromptu trips to Cancun when the power goes out in the middle of winter

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

the good news is that the US does not run RBMK Reactors so our Nuclear plants won't go ballistic.

Gonna need some fuel rods or the Elephant foot in that background in the future. T_T

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes they did vote for this. Because this owns the libs…….somehow

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

No, we didn't. They hacked the machines. I wish people would stop saying, "This is what we voted for" because it isn't. Even the xitter posts of people saying, "I voted for Trump are mostly fake from bot accounts. They're just to create the illusion of Trump voters.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

No one is saying it wasn't a stolen election, but people DID vote for that orange smear. So, the question, "Is this what you voted for?" is still valid.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

"Hell yeah that's what I voted for." -ignorant ass republicans

"Hell yeah, that's what I didn't vote for." - Dumbasses that didn't vote

Pacific northwest, so where these Seattle soyboys live? Hell yeah they voted for this , they would love nothing more than have a nuclear disaster there.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

i mean you joke but as a texan, yes, the dipshits are loving it.

1 year ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

As another Texan who obsessively watches patterns and behaviors those fucking idiots don't actually know what they are voting for. It's the cult of the dunning Kruger effect, but don't you dare point out their political illiteracy or give them then answer more complicated then libs bad.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I joke but at the same time, I know it's true for a lot of them. I live in Florida. I work with people who praise everything republicans do. Nothing can change that. If a republican did it, they'll support it 110%. They will die on that hill over and over again.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I have a family member who is a die-hard Republican supporter who is convinced that everything they do is for the good of the economy and that every news report that calls out the party's claims as lies are, themselves, lying. He's also convinced that the whole "police discriminate against ethnic minorities" is an exaggeration because he doesn't see it and that "true representation" is about statistics; 1/2

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

so since black people are 14% of the US population, that they should only be 14% of characters seen in media instead of seen as a major supporting or main character in every single show. "Having so many of them doesn't represent reality" and thinks people are justified in wanting to see fewer black people in media.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You're in Florida? Then they probably will literally die on that hill. Hurricanes are likely to render the state unlivable at some point due to climate change.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

This was in February. They immediately regretted this move and have tried to rehire many of those people, but have succeeded in rehiring only about 80 of the 600. Over 200 took the buyout offer. https://www.opb.org/article/2025/03/06/bonneville-power-administration-jobs-back-fired-staff-trump/ so yeah. This was around the same time the Trump administration without warning ordered the Army Corps of Engineers to release millions of gallons of water from reservoirs already low in an area -

1 year ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

suffering extreme drought (shortly after the LA fires). That water just ended up going nowhere, and now farmers who voted for Trump won't have that water for crops this summer. https://www.sfgate.com/politics/article/california-reservoirs-lose-water-trump-20147181.php those farmers still support him: https://www.politico.com/news/2025/02/06/trump-california-water-policy-farmers-00202751

1 year ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

We'll see how much they support him when their crops die off and they can't afford to buy food they're not growing because they have no money with which to do it

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They still will. Being conservative republican is the core of their identity. Even if they don’t like Trump he’s one of them unlike the democrats who are their enemies.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah I see. You haven't seen what's going on in town halls... Farmers who voted for Trump are making their local, Trump supporting politicians VERY afraid of continuing to support Trump.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That’s cool. I can only speak to my southern farming family who will never turn on him no matter what he does. It’s been a decade of Trump support and a literal lifetime of unshakable republican support. Nothing Trump does will change that unless all the famous republicans en masse turn on him first. And they will NEVER vote Democrat in any way shape or form. It’s the other team.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One man should not have this much power without checks and balances. Those checks and balances are still supposedly in place, but are they?

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Since congress is R, and the supreme court is R, what check do you expect to balance things? If people want democrats to have power, they need to elect them, otherwise it's unchecked, unbalanced individuals in power. But hey, Durverger's law, gerrymandering and first past the post voting really makes a democracy less representative every year. Just a white business criminal in a suit to represent everyone!

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They were until one man managed to cult-of-personality his way into placing sycophants into all of those checks and balances. Now all bets are off.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

no, they are not. They require elected leaders and a population willing to enforce them, and we don't have those. The billionaires bought enough of them, and the rest are too scared.

The judicial branch is doing it's part. Takes time, as it's meant to, but it's upholding the rule of law.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0
