Finished project. ? Final dimensions: 75"x36", 28" to the under side support braces, so a file cabinet can be easily slid in.

Laying everything out to start

Measure 42 times. Cut once. Curse. Remeasure. Sand down to new spec.

Skirt added. Infinitely more sturdy now.

Sanded... 120, 220, 400 grit. 4 coats of minwax espresso stain. Took another 3 days just to do the staining. Didn't want to dry in the cold weather. The side skirts/legs are removable, because moving this chonky boy around would be a herculean feat otherwise.
