The Idiots of Imgur: A FYBD Mini Dump

tl;dr The Idiots are taking a break this week but will be back later.

It’s a shame to see the platform and the amazing people on it being treated the way it is by a soulless corporation that seems to be willing to cut any corner, so long as it maximizes profits.

I started The Idiots of Imgur series at a time when my life was going through a lot of changes. From losing family and long-term relationships, to gaining new career opportunities and friendships, this community made me feel welcomed and even appreciated throughout the best and worst parts of my recent life. Making these posts for you all has been, and continues to be, something I look forward to every single week.

I know not everyone agrees with the blank post method, but I think we can all agree that we want what’s best for Imgur. This is my small part in support of keeping the platform friendly to all the amazing Imgurians who lift others up without even knowing it.

This is not the end of the Idiots series, but I think a week of sacrifice is appropriate given the circumstances. Enjoy your weekend everyone!
