A little additional fuck you to Asians and Asian men

A week ago the girl in white, Khawlah Noman, of Toronto, Ontario, made a claim that she had been attacked by an Asian man with scissors who also cut some of her hijab (head covering). A police team investigated and found it to be untrue. She now admits she was lying. Sort of. Her mother (shown in red hijab) says only that, without making any effort to talk to her daughter further, she "assumed it was true". The apology says nothing about why she did it or why she targeted Asian men. No specific or additional apology or recognition to the Asian community was offered. The mother says her priority now is to "look forward to closing this difficult chapter and provid[e] support to [her] children". Grab a broom and sweep this under the rug because It definitely seems like it's all about her and her family.

Rule 1. Don't make false accusations.
Rule 2. If you break Rule 1 apologize first to the individuals and group you specifically wronged instead of making a meaningless blanket kinda-sorry half apology.

Special mention goes to the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) who not only did absolutely nothing to verify the bare minimum of the story but raced to organize a media event at the girl's school library, inside the school, where presumably her Asian classmates study. The TDSB recently issued a statement that they won't be commenting further on the matter.
