“Responsibly” is the key word here. Talking in general, I think ppl lack lots of common sense these days.
Flodos
It's just as "common" as before, the internet just made that fact much more obvious.

AR are way easier to shoot. Less recoil and the whole gun-lego thing means optics are more readily accessible. Plus light fast rounds
Tumble and cause way more tissue damage in human sized targets. Like I get what you’re trying to say, but there’s 50 years of
Ballistic improvements between the two weapon systems. And that matters

gun violence has been around as long as guns have. It just never made it past local news, so maybe the world shouldn't be so well connected?

Its exactly why 90+% of suicides and serial killers arent mentioned on the news. Copy-Cat syndrome.

Now do an analysis of the number of owners and the number of the equivalent "assault" rifles. more guns, more accidents, more demand for reg

That doesn't make any sense from a statistics or scientific point of view.

That is not correct.

Also I use to use that exact riffle all the time as a teen when I was on a junior shooting team.
Also I find it kind of funny that you think that just because I am for more restrictions it means that I have never touched a gun before.
Never said I wanted to restrict any riffles. Just universal background checks, and no high capacity magazines.
Moving our conversation back to the other post. I just wanted to give you something to think about.

I don't even want to go there.

But everything else political is good to go?
ChaosScythe
I doubt that’s what they meant. I assume this would show up on most issues of a political nature.
I don't think anyone said anything of the sort.
Also Ministry, thank you for this image. I will use it as a concise response for political start ups.

Intentionally misleading. The AR15 is a civilian variant of an M16, its often called an assault rifle because it is classified as such.
UnknownTongue
If it was classified as an "assault rifle", it would already be so heavily regulated as to be banned for regular people. You're uneducated.
The frequent claims that it's only a black stock versus a word one is nonsense.
And the claim only a fully auto rifle can be called an assault rifle is revisionist horse horse shit.
I've bought guns, enjoy skeet shooting, and don't have any problem with lawful gun owners and I don't think model specific bans or
Accessory band make any sense. But the gun community has some serious problems with honesty.
Instead of bitching about semantics maybe we can close third party loopholes, and have a process to keep guns out of the wrong hands.
