Found my old zune in my storage unit but the glass is busted and im pretty sure the display under is damaged as well. None of the screen repair places within an hour of me will touch it so im hoping someone might know a company that works on things like this they could recommend me.

pretty lucky it turns on, back it up, then see how far you can skip it like a rock...

If it's outside warranty coverage, you could try to replace it yourself and gain a new skill

There is literally nowhere to email them it wants me to select a specific device to ask about and zune isn't an option.

I checked further, and people with the same issue, when out of warranty and there was still support for zune, the option microsoft gave for screen issues was device replacement

They kinda want to pretend zune doesn't exist anymore. They even took connectability from "newer" xbox 360s. But it's worth a shot i guess.

It looks like they ended Zune support in 2015, I guess it would need to be a third party repair place

I know, I was wondering/hoping there might be a way they would still help. The people who were supporting it may still be there, after all they made a fix for zune issue with win 11
