Yup, they will, and I then found out that to purchase the entire clock was cheaper, and you can use the old clock as a template.

Unfortunately I am in little old New Zealand, I was able to find a mechanism without hands for $7, but the whole clock was $10 (US $6.80)

the 4 digits in use is hexadecimal, it goes from 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.9.A.B.C.D.E.F = 16 digits

Acetone smooths the edges as well. Gets rid of any visible layers.

Acetone wont work on pla. Its not soluble.

Generally not considered the best idea when using PLA , although I am now watching a YouTube video about someone testing it on PLA

Try rustoleum 2 in 1 filler and primer spray paint. It works better than resin, paints, chemicals, bondo etc. Its less that $6 a can.

Use Fingernail polish then. It's thick enough to cover most of the bumps and easy to apply another layer if needed plus so many colors

Sorry, generally we can tell if it is am or pm by looking out the window, and trying to find a 24 hour clock to butcher wasn't an option.

I see the logic now. A new 24 hour clock motor does ride the line for $10. I've only seen one in the wild so a free one would be hard.
