Manny the Inspiration

Manny is a friend I made on the beach this summer. He suffers from the canine form of ALS and lost the use of his legs. He still gets up everyday and goes for a walk on the beach in the morning and then again in the evening. He is full of life and acts like he is still a puppy who is 100%. I lost the use of my right leg 2 years ago. It has been a struggle to learn how to walk and function again. This was the first day I was able to walk down the beach since my leg became paralyzed and meeting this incredible pooch gave me such hope for the future. It's just simple and heartwarming. Manny is still doing amazing in his battle and it was a true privilege to meet him.
