My cat in high school was a literal murder machine and if he heard something in the night, it would be dead LONG before dawn.

I miss that little psycho; he was an asshole the majority of the time, but he also had a sweet side and would make biscuits in your lap when he could sense you were having a shit day.

Designer coffee is supposed to be shit. It should look, not taste.

The coffee from VW's in-car brewer is not "designer", it's just a bad design of coffee maker. "Designer" means that a particular person who is well known for their designs designed it. That wasn't the case here. This was automotive engineers who don't know jack shit about brewing coffee made a coffee maker that runs on the car's electrical system.
They just took a bunch of coffee grounds in a mesh and submerged it in hot water. Only the outside ever extracted, and it over-extracted. It sucked

Forgetting about espresso because CLEARLY no one is going to go through all the rigamarole while driving, It's not a drip coffee machine. It's not even a percolator. It's essentially a bean paste soup maker.
