I'm a 6'5" man and I get asked my height all of the time. I got it when I was growing up too. But, I get that it's different for women. Tall men are generally looked at like they're more masculine, while tall women are deemed abnormal and weird. I have a lot of tall women friends and they've told me some of the horrible things that shorter, insecure men have said to them in their lives. Assumed lesbianism. "Good luck finding a man who would marry you". Our society is horrible if you stand out.

"Stand out" in the wrong ways, that is.

If she walked past me unfortunately my first thought would be "holy shit look at how tall she is" but the fun thing is I have the ability to not say that out loud and also understand she's just another person going through life like me

#5 As a young man, who hit 6'4" in high school, I would have taken great delight in knowing there was a woman my own height. I would have been just as terrified to speak to her as any other woman, but I would have been delighted to think about her a lot.
