So, I made a discord server. It's a relaxed environment where you can take/donate memes to the cause, play trivia twice a week, chat about lots of topics or about nothing at all. We also have Jack Box game night and are setting up movie night! Very laid back/relaxed vibe. Come hang with us.

I'm also on the imgcat server for updates & fun:

Bring in a bucket full of them. Let him do his normal thing, then let another one on the bed, then another and finally start tipping the bucket.

#24 The term originates from 16th-century cockfighting pits,, literally a cramped, blood-soaked hole in the ground for combat.

Royal Navy sailors in the 1700s hijacked the word to describe the midshipmen’s quarters.

It doubled as a surgery during battle; the gore and tight space mirrored the original fighting pits.

WWI pilots adopted it for their tight, high-stress seating, solidifying it as the standard for any control hub.

#16 Is that a kiwi cosplaying as a chicken? That egg's massive!

1 week ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Chickens have fucked up eggs sometimes.

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That chicken must've been 80% egg at that point!

This is what a kiwi looks like with her egg:

Good read! I'd add... Protein releases the "i'm filling up!" hormones and they reach your brain in about 5 mins. Carbs don't have that hormone hit until 20 mins.
Also... chewing is necessary. Sit and think at the start of your meal... and if you aren't chewing more than 10 times before you swallow... then chances are the food isn't small enough to all be absorbed, and you're not starting the digestive process well, which has a flow on effect. Slow down. Turn off the tv. Sucks, but good for ya

#8 Because how would you know the poem is so beautiful it could kill? Unless YOU saw someone read it and die. That makes YOU the killer.

1 week ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

You could not know but need to see several individuals read the same poem and die to confirm your findings, it's just an experiment

All through the winter of ‘43 we had translators working in poem-proof conditions to try to produce a German version of the poem. They worked on 1 word each for greater safety. One of them saw 2 words of the poem and spent several weeks in hospital. But apart from that things went pretty quickly, and we soon had the poem by January, in a form which our troops couldn’t understand but the Germans could.

Either the simplest, 100% accurate name
Or unhinged, off the wall, not-approptiate-in-polite-company bullshit
And I fucking love them both

#16 Can anyone speak to this? I am also curious although, admittedly, probably less than the chicken owner.

Eggs can sometimes get "re-egged" where the hens lady bits gets confused and put an egg in an egg. It's possible for it to happen more than once so I'd bet that's an egg in an egg in an egg https://media2.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPWE1NzM3M2U1MXoyZGlld3hmajFiaXMzN2QxYXlxaWpibHd0cTB6eHl3ZDdiY21zNyZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/xmf00ANvBCTzG/200w.webp

I suspect it is an ostrich egg.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Ostrich eggs are way bigger, 24 times bigger than a chichen egg.

1 week ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

16 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That'd be the smallest ostrich egg ever. My chickens never had an egg that big but I don't doubt this more than I doubt everything I see on the internet.

1 week ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It could be a duck egg.
