So, I made a discord server. It's a relaxed environment where you can take/donate memes to the cause, play trivia twice a week, chat about lots of topics or about nothing at all. We also have Jack Box game night and are setting up movie night! Very laid back/relaxed vibe. Come hang with us.

#2 I don't care for those things. They always crumple under my weight.

Which of course isn't really their fault, but still, not an endearing characteristic.

#13 if only Ginsberg wasn't a self absorbed, insipid, bitch that decided to shit on her own legacy by dying in office during Trump's administration, leaving us with the empty seat that got filled with Nazi Clown Parade member 3. Way to fart as you leave the room. "Oh she helped stuff like RoevWade!" Yeah, and her legacy is that all her work is getting dismantled by her successor. Fuck her, she could have died a humble legend, and instead died a.self centered egotist who sabotaged everything

#12 My old house was next to an empty lot, and a peacock decided to make it his home. We actually liked having him as a neighbor. He was quiet, respectful, and fun to watch. But then a developer bought the land and started clearing it for construction, and the tragic, shrieking wails from the peacock at the loss of his home went on for WEEKS. It was heartbreaking, but also really unsettling. He sounded like a banshee. Eventually he left to find a new home and we never saw him again.

Lots of people still lionise her, but Earhart seems to have been a fairly crappy pilot (https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2025/06/09/amelia-earharts-reckless-final-flights). Might be time to give other female pilots like Jacqueline Cochran more of the limelight over people with better publicicist husbands.

#11 the last letter Ramon wrote to his nephew was the following:

"Finally, I can travel, and above all, I can sleep calmly. The sinking of the America was terrible... But now I am on the Titanic."

Some synchronicities are impossible to ignore~

Small kitten

4 days ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 1

How much is that in washing machines?

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The cat size? Approximately 3 tide pods. Or, a small pile of washing machine screws & bolts.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#10 DIGGA?

#1 how big is that in sauce packets?

4 days ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

It’s adorable big.

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My very first thought, which is why I had to find the photo. I think sauce packet kitten is smaller than remote kitten.

4 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Explain your smallness.

#13 no Maya Angelou?

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or Nellie Bly. Plus Rosa Parks should be Claudette Colvin.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's part of a much bigger series. https://www.etsy.com/market/she_series_khallion Sorry for the Etsy link, but that's where all the artist's stuff is.

#4 Before someone says it, no, Black didn’t break up the band, there’s no indication that he’s a Zionist, and Kyle acknowledged he was in the wrong when he apologized - not for his words, but his timing

at least one person will still say it lol

If there’s anything Magneto leftists are known for, it’s letting go of a perceived slight against someone they’ve never met

4 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 11

If there's anything that right wingers are known for, it's not graduating high school.

4 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Sure, but that’s not exactly relevant since they weren’t the ones trying to gaslight us over the whole situation.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

The only people who use terms like "leftists" are right wingers like you.

2 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

And pedophilia.

#11 reminds me of the story about the unsinkable lady who survived like 3 sinking. I think her name was Violet or something

4 days ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

Well he died on Titanic. He waited 40 years to die on a boat.

4 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

Final destination caught up to him

Used to have a considerable fear of earthquakes and was working in Castroville Ca in '89 when the big one hit. I watched the whole city move like a waterbed, freeways collapse, and my car bounce off the ground for half a minute. So I moved to North Hollywood in '92 and was just in time for the Northridge quake. Had a dresser land on me in my sleep and a wall cracked in half. So I moved to Fl in 1995 and was introduced to a major hurricane my first year there. Felt like a Final Destination movie

4 days ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

I had a job interview on the day of the Northridge quake. I think they hired me because I was crazy enough to show up. I was driving on the freeway with a friend the day before. I pointed to the exact overpass that collapsed and said I always worried about being under one of them if an earthquake hits. I wasn’t asking for answers! I had nightmares for 6 months after the quake.

4 days ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You aren't planning a move to Canada are you? Seriously, that sucks.

4 days ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Well, at least you’re done with the misgivings that come in 3’s?

4 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

And the Japanese man who survived both atomic bombs

4 days ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

Oh yeah

4 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That was Tsutomu Yamaguchi, a Japanese marine engineer working for Mitsubishi who was two miles from ground zero in Hiroshima and again two miles from Nagasaki ground zero three days later. Despite health problems from radiation, he lived to 93 years old.

America sank in Uruguay. How did he get from Uruguay to England between 1871 and 1912?

4 days ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Reading his wikipedia page he settled in Argentina, went to Germany for a visit then took the Titanic for his trip back. So doesn't seem like he avoided ships entirely after the America sinking.

4 days ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

SHHHHH!

4 days ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

40 years after 1871 would have been 1911, so there’s enough time for him to take another ship from Montevideo to London.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As the story went, he didn’t board another ship until the Titanic

4 days ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

No, it doesn’t say that he didn’t board another ship first.

4 days ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

“The mental trauma gave him nightmares for the rest of his life AND KEPT HIM OFF SHIPS FOR THE NEXT FORTY YEARS- UNTIL APRIL 10, 1912, when he decided to visit the US and boarded the Titanic “. -the aforementioned meme
