This is not how I was raised with mayo

oh boy

Cream cheese melon sounds so wrong

That dollop is a heart-attack waiting to happen

Salad salads

This should really be a toothpick commercial

Miracle whip is a CRIME unto itself

Tuna has limited applications

My last post had a few folk mention rennet, so here's a recipe!

Ok, a spicy pear tart actually sounds good

The nightmare beans

It's basic but probably ok

Green olives are a limited use food to be sure.... I'm not certain this is one of those

mmmm canned meat

I ferl like this is an indigestion casserole

anything with Minute Rice is suspect

My cousin thinks Campbell's is the epitome seasoning food. Oof

so I wouldn't say "zesty"

Mayo is actually a very versatile ingredient

More mostly not-terrible recipes

WHY is it SMILING???

Make this if you want company to leave

Moremayo, but also more sus

Unflavored gelatin... I guess better than lime.... I guess.... this has sugared ham tho

I see chunks

Pk this actually doesn't look that bad, and I'm amused by "lettuce ruffle"

The broccoli makes me wonder

why is it bumpy? why is this a requirement?

Liver tastes like metal. It's gross.

I've never seen fluffy mackrel before

It's more spectacle than spectacular

That's no pineapple, it's a food-crime

Atlanta, I'm not sure you know what this is. The garnishes aren't giving any clues

Just.... no

mmmm jelloshrimp strikes again!

A spam salad

Oh and people really used to eat these. I've seen the almond on at potlucks. I didn't feel pot-lucky

This beast but slightly baked (shudders), I'll never forget the SMELL

pineapple and mayo.... cold.

Loafing meat was quite popular

For a few ingredients you can make something mostly gross!

I would never describe this dish as 'glamorous'

A collage!

Mayo Igloo diced meat loaf

Yep, that's lemon jello.... with lamb

This looks like fancy cat food

Because a meat ring wasn't bad enough, let's dump tinned green beans on it.

Apology desert. This is almost pure diabetes but actually tastes good.

Advances in flour tech

It's ok for a cake. Thanks for sticking it out for this post!

So many odd recipes from so many companies in the past! I've seen many of these things personally, and I was a kid in the 1970s.
