I feel like I'm not seeing this being talked about enough.

But he doesn't know anything about Project 2025...

Yeah. It's bad. Like, "could destabilize the entire DoD and weaken our readiness for a decade" bad.

You get what you vote for.

Both the Executive Orders and reversal of previous ones are not being explained or enough or even talked about. People need to understand the ramifications of each one!

I'm shocked... no wait, the opposite.

We warned people about this, we warned about Project 2025... People voted for this and were gloating about it. Enjoy "winning"!

I feel like the worst part of it, is how few people who voted for him will care.

This pretty much already happened as the bought and paid for supreme court rules The President is above and beyond the law.

Day one. It has already started. Union dues can’t be deduction from paycheck as it has been at least the last 20 +years . now have to set up external account to withdraw dues from bank account. Incremental steps to have people fall off the union roster.

Damn, looks like union members are going to have start showing up at the boss's house in the middle of night again... and I say that as a company manager of union associates. I know what side of the class war I'm on

talked about? everything (legal) they are planning has been out in the open, for a while, he said he would do this, he's going to do all that other terrible shit he said too, and the awful things the people that bought his position asked for. what's the point of talking about it?

People kept saying that he can only do so much damage because surely all the federal agencies and departments would resist and fight back. But with this change he can fire any civil servant (like, say, a pesky IRS investigator who is looking into his tax fraud) and replace them with a MAGA loyalist who doesn't need any job qualifications. IOW, after rigging the SC and many other courts they're now going to stuff everything with nazis. The dept. of education, justice, commerce, labor, defense etc

not sure who, magats have been saying they would do this for years.

I guess many were hoping this would be a repeat of his first term where a lot of agencies ran damage control. E.g., the NIH did their best during the pandemic to counter the president's disinformation and the intelligence community quickly wised up to the fact that everything they put on Trump's desk ended up on Putin's desk too. So they stopped sharing vital information with Twitler, which is the only reason the rest of the free world could still consider America an ally rather than an enemy.

If the GOP assumes control of the entire government apparatus, we current US allies will be forced to cut a lot of ties with America. Even though that's exactly what Putin wants. The US military presence on our soil will become a grave security concern. They've been spying for the NSA all along, but now they'll be spying for Russia and we need to do something about this. The US will have to be isolated from the free world and NATO, and what remains of NATO will have to prepare for US aggression.
