Like all advances it will be used to make those who already have more than enough, even more. While it may or may not provide some sliver of abundance to those without.
You will need to worry when the automated soldier drone-robots start rolling off the automated factory lines.
At that point it won't be Skynet that decides to genocide humanity, but the upper crust.
