Feels like the solution is just unisex bathrooms and not multi can germ breeders. Just my opinion though.

most unisex bathrooms i've seen are single occupant, and take up more space per toilet

Take the common walking area, make it a "hallway" then make the stalls floor to ceiling. Keep the sinks there.

i'd be fine with it, itd be an improvement honestly, but i'm not sure how well that would be received by the general public
