Deadpool?

So with my Twins turning 16 this Friday (the 12th, same day as Deadpool movie release)

And them being pretty geeky (apple doesn't fall far from the tree) I am of course taking them to the movie for their birthday! I was reading up on it, and saw a post about the first appearance of Deadpool in the New Mutants 98 in 1991. I thought to myself "Self, you were a comic-book collecting 18 year old geek in 1991, what are the chances?" So I went to find out.

Box was pretty beat up, my parents kept it at their place until I had my own.

Everything looks like it survived pretty well.

There were TONS of Wolverine.

Also Groo!

Naturally some X-men.

97! 98 should be next right?

Nope. 18 year old me was apparently disorganized.

A weird book called What If? That Marvel ran for a while, with weird scenarios.

Finally! In great shape too!
