But what I mean by my first comment that you should watch out because this is a show, it's because listen to her. She's so fucking smart, she knows this is a game. She knows nothing she's saying actually truly matters beyond the zingers because anyone who thinks about it for more than five seconds knows meritocracy was never a factor in the first place so of course Bondi's not going to be "good" at her job. But the reality is she's doing the job exactly as she has been told and paid to do it.
This is what controlled opposition looks like. Be sensible, presentable, intelligent, and say things that make a lot of sense to people who think the show is real or people who expect reality to work like it ought to rather than how it actually does, and as long as you can establish that good guy vs bad guy narrative, no matter who wins in the next election cycles, the machine overall can manufacture consent for whatever it choses by continually ratcheting the overton window rightward.
The system isn't broken, it's working exactly as intended; Bondi isn't "bad" at her job, she's doing exactly what she was appointed to do, like how healthcare isn't bad because the system is broken, it's bad because it's set up to screw you and take your money. There is no meritocracy here. There never was. This is a country built on genocide and developed by slavery, by 0.1% landowners who didn't want to pay taxes anymore and convinced peasants to die for them then taxed them to pay for the war
