There are multiple moments in which I have never been more resentful, repulsed, and, at times, despondent that I am American.

Let me be clear. TRUMP SAID KILL THEM ALL. I think he is a piece of Russian shit. And he got no vote from me, and he is "not my president." But I am lying if Biden and many, many others in high office, regardless of their political affiliation, don't have innocent blood on their hands.

They will not stop.

America has helped Isreal before for one political reason or another. This time, Isreal plans to wipe Gaza out entirely.

Now it's up to the rest of the world. Good luck. And a heartfelt sorry for the destroyed families, the trauma struck survivors, and those who can't get know. It doesn't mean anything, I know.

And no, Ukraine is not forgotten in my mind. I hope you guys hold out. America failed you all.

Fuck you US for not having a spine. Enjoy your blood money. If this is the American Way, you can keep it.

Get wrecked with a hot poker, Netanyahu

90 million idiots did not vote, helping giving Trump his mandate.

I hope they get to watch their loved ones die as a direct result of legislature they could have prevented. At least their “conscience was clear“ that election night.

I'm with you on this point. Israel has been a warmongering nation for some time now, and Russia hasn't stopped being cunts since the cold war. Now is the time for other countries to sack up and deal with the problems we won't anymore

No one is going do it. Ironically South Africa which prompted the case against Israel in ICC refused to arrest Putin when he visited when he had a warrant against him.

Whether he actually gets arrested or not will be telling. Our world is all talk while horrible people do horrible things. We are showing not just in the US, but the world that evil people just don't care. And if they have enough money and rich friends, nothing happens.

HAMAS can go get wrecked with a hot poker for attacking without provocation. Stop fucking defending murderers and hostagetakers.

Biden doesn’t just have blood on his hands, he’s an active part of this genocide. He’s lied to the public multiple times, spread Israeli propaganda, bypassed Congress to weapons to Israel, sanctioned bombing campaigns against Israel’s enemies, blocked the majority of cease fire attempts via his UN delegate (including one the UNSC the other day which would’ve released all hostages alongside a permanent ceasefire), ordered crackdowns on protesters and he called this ruling outrageous. His/

Behaviour is what you’d expect from the biggest receiver of pro-Israel lobby funds and I wouldn’t be surprised if he invaded The Hague if anyone actually arrests Netanyahu or Gallant, using The Hague invasion act that Bush passed

The problem is once international warrants like this are issued, they tend not to visit countries that might actually detain them. That or they'll call the bluff with certain countries because the governments are too big of cowards to risk "pissing off" the country they came from. I'm not saying warrants shouldn't be issued, just that we should temper expectations in these situations. It

al-Bashir and South Africa too

It's an interesting situation with Israel though because Israel is essentially cut off by the maritime and aerial exclusion zones of other countries, whilst many of them wouldn't enforce the warrant due to strategic or financial interests, there's an increasing number who would.

For example it only takes a minor navigational error to end up in Turkish airspace if you're flying from Israel. It's also virtually impossible to avoid the airspace of pro Palestine nations on any sort of direct 1/

Route from Israel to the US. Italy is one of the largest contributors to the UN mission on Lebanon, so whilst her position is ostensibly pro Israel atm, it wouldn't take much to change that. Spain is ofc already pro Palestine and that leaves the north African countries; if I was an israeli war criminal I wouldn't want to take my plane over their airspace for obvious reasons. 2

It's sickening that people witnessed Trump saying "KILL THEM ALL", zionist leaders openly say that they want to wipe palestinians off the surface of the earth, have their army targeting civilians indiscriminately and are still getting extremely angry and hostile at anyone who dares to call it a "genocide". Cue all the "WoRdS nO lOnGeR hAvE aNy MeAniNg" trolls. I've had enough of their BS.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Oh yeah. The fucking cheers that he got the Zionist leaders when he won.

Dude, I live in a state with a high population of Zionists. Not everyone who is of that affiliation is an absolute maniac, but the ones that are aren't hiding it. They get extremely flippant and aggressive towards anyone who stands up to them.

Does anyone care what that court even says? Has any of these international courts ever made someone not doing it?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There have been some successful prosecutions, but tpically only adter a military defeat enabling capture. Obv there were the Nuremburg trials, and wasn't Milosovic picked up too? It's not common though, you're right.

I voted Kamala and bit a nazi, not sure what else I can do

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Protest, voting is the bare minimum and that barely changes anything. In regards to Palestine this election changed nothing. If you care about Palestine then join in with the Palestine activism. Imagine if all that $1.5B wasted by the Harris campaign went to Palestinian aid or another good cause. I’d say the same for the Trump campaign but republicans wouldn’t put their money in a good cause

I have friends here that I live with who have lost family to these brutalities. It all seems so futile in the face of this complicit holocaust.

Like South Africa not arresting Omar al-Bashir over the Sudanese genocide. People tend to think SA is some beacon of liberty, when actually it's a kleptocracy in cahoots with Russia and the rest of BRICS.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It helps combat denial propaganda. It's gonna be harder for their trolls to discredit and suppress the voices of the people who called out the genocide since the beginning. You're right though, we need to manage our expectations and be realistic. The role of the court is call a crime a crime and determine a sentence, but not to apply the sentence itself. Whether the sentence can be applied or not doesn't make it less of a crime so this is a very important step forward, although not a resolution.

Agreed, but this IS a historic step.

it's a whole; now that this is done, it'll help politicians to implement more real actions like stop selling weapons to israel

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

66% of sales come from the US, and 30% from Germany, neither of whom are going to stop. But ok, go lay down in traffic in London to protest the sale of underwear if it makes you feel better. Won't make a jot of difference.

Don't wait for perfect solutions, imperfect ones are better than none. And once those imperfect ones are in place, improve on them until goal is achieved

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I agree with the sentiment, broadly, but I can't help but feel efforts could be better spent than on what is essentially performance theatre. Part of the problem is the demonisation of all Israelis that goes on. There's a very active and substantial Israeli peace effort, opposed to Netanyahu's hawkish policies. Supporting them financially and politically would achieve more than 10 ears of protest marches half the world away.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Marches help give power to politicians to implement stuff. Marches by themselves don't do anything else.
But I get your point, crushing and blaming the whole of Israel for the decision of its leader (who was on the verge of losing power before the war) might be counterproductive.
A mix of both though maybe ? Idk, I def. don't have enough knowledge to find the good solution but I'm glad stuff move, even if only a lil' bit

America has a long history of supporting Israel. The AIPAC $100M lobbying effort running ads against progressives is very troubling. Biden isn't the best but he at least used part of his office to try stopping or mitigating the mess. Blame congress for the law passed and the millions funneled to keep the genocide going.

1 year ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 4

Biden is the biggest receiver of pro-Israel lobby funds https://www.opensecrets.org/industries/summary?cycle=All&ind=Q05&recipdetail=S
He has been an active participant in this genocide, especially with his lying for Israel, he even bypassed Congress to get them weapons in the last year, his administration also blocked most ceasefire attempts in the UNSC, most notably a recent one which would’ve been a permanent ceasefire and the release of all hostages.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2024/11/20/us-vetoes-un-security-council-resolution-demanding-gaza-ceasefire he’s not trying to stop this mess. He’s even called this ICC ruling outrageous

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

AIPAC ousted 2 sitting Dem members of the squad over Zionist criticism, in some of the most expensive House races in US history. Dem leadership said nothing. Biden campaign took 4x more $ from AIPAC than Trump. Biden lied to the nation about seeing evidence of beheaded and oven-baked babies on Oct 7 to sell a moral justification for genocide. Continued peddling that BS long after the truth came out - sent 14,000 2 ton bunker busters to Israel. He's as dirty as Netanyahoo.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

And he condemned the ICC for this decision! He has no stake in the game anymore - he can literally do what the fuck he wants, and its absolutely clear now he wants to support the genocide. Not launch a through investigation in the massive single point ballots. Not do his best to mitigate p

You’ve just raised a great point that I hadn’t considered. He has no stake in the game anymore since he’ll never be elected again, he could literally do what he wants. If he wanted he could fuck off israel and betray all that AIPAC money.

My man's been well paid over the years. They all have.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Still holds the all time record for Israeli lobby money taken as a senator and president despite not being a senator for nearly 18 years.

Almost 2 decades and no one has caught up or even come close.

That kinda says it all tbh.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

He’s worse than you think he is. Optically says one thing. Quietly does the opposite.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

Other way around.
He’s actually been quite vocal about supporting Israel, but quiet in his efforts to stymy their atrocities.
You assume he’s done nothing because most of his efforts are behind closed doors, secret from the public to avoid looking like he’s undermining an allied nation. In fact, most of what we know about his attempts to rein Israel in we ONLY know because of leaks or Israeli officials complaining he’s “sabotaging” them.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 6

Ah yes, the old "secretly Biden is really really mad at netenyahu because of the most recent massacre in Gaza" leaks that always come out right on time when another weapon shipment is sent to Israel. Classic Biden.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

If it weren't for the leaks it sure would look like he's 100% unconditionally sending thousands of bunker busters to Israel...

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

If you don’t understand how the US government works, you can just say that instead.
Biden doesn’t have the legal authority to cut off Israel, and he can only stall for so long.
And of course for people who don’t actually care what is true, any evidence that contradicts your belief is really just evidence in support of your belief. Bob Woodward, an independent reporter, reporting that Biden has been growing increasingly agitated with Netanyahu is just part of The Conspiracy to you types.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You would rather have an excuse to be more angry than be right, which is PARTICULARLY stupid because there’s PLENTY here to already be mad about — the hold AIPAC has over our politicians, the fact that Congress (which has the real power here) doesn’t want to do anything, that Biden is so terrified of escalation that he’s unwilling to push the limits further than he already is, etc.
There’s PLENTY of shit to be mad at without having to lie about Biden’s intentions.
