Pheasants Forever never did as well, as Ducks Unlimited for conservation in my state. More likely to see wild turkey now than pheasant-the exact opposite from when I was a kid.

They release farm raised in WI. You will see pheasant's standing by the edge of the road after release. All the hedgerows are gone now.
